Mickey Hart Band have confirmed their final round of 2012 dates. The ensemble’s final 2012 headlining shows will take place at Paradise, CA’s Paradise Performing Arts Center (11/28) and Napa, CA’s The Uptown Theatre (11/29). Then, the band will close their 2012 tour with an appearance at the A Buck Dancer’s Choice Rex Foundation benefit on December 1. The performance—which will honor the memory of longtime Dead Manager Jon McIntire—will also feature Bob Weir, members of ALO and additional guests. Since Mickey Hart Band bassist Dave Schools will resume touring with Widespread Panic in 2013, Hart may very well shuffle his band’s lineup in the coming months.

As a thank you to their fans, the Mickey Hart Band have released 40 minutes of free live tracks from their October 19, 2012 stop at Atlanta, GA’s the Variety Playhouse. The free sampler includes “Time Never Ends”, “West L.A. Fadeaway”, “Franklin’s Tower” and “Djinn Djinn.” The live tracks can be downloaded for free here.
