Strangefolk to Reunite Again for Boston Show

Strangefolk will play a reunion show at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Friday, March 22. The event will take place one day before the band plays another reunion gig at moe.‘s Snoe.down festival at Killington Resort in Killington, Vermont. The concert will mark the original Strangefolk lineup’s first return to Boston since they first reunited last year. Tickets to the show will go on sale here at noon this Friday.

The original Strangefolk quartet performed two shows at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY this past weekend. The band was joined by Al Schnier for a few songs, and the moe. guitarist also opened for them at both shows. You can check out some great photos from Strangefolk’s Friday night reunion show here. A video of the band performing the Grateful Dead’s “Jack Straw” with Schnier can be viewed above.

Reid has a great voice and is a fantastic songwriter…the time he spent with Strangefolk is unparalleled to his solo career. Hope for more to come.
