Keller Williams has expanded his initial 2013 dates. In addition to solo shows, Williams will play with The Keels and Travelin’ McCourys. He will also perform with More Than A Little, a new soul/funk/R&B project featuring a number of his Virginia neighbors. Williams will perform with the new band at Fredericksburg, VA’s Fieldhouse on December 26 as part of the the 12th Annual Benefit for The Fredericksburg Regional SPCA!

An official statement says:

As we all know, Christmas is a time for family, gifts and finding out what project Keller has put together for the week between Christmas and New Years. Grunge Grass, Keller & The Keels, The Added Bonus, Ifnyauntu and Kdubalicious…Keller’s created a tradition of surrounding himself with great musicians to play with during this coveted party week run between Christmas and New Years. This year, he’s kicking it all off in Fredericksburg and introducing his new 6 piece project called “More Than A Little,” a deep, soulful yet funked up group of Virginia R&B Allstars. The funk will be palpable…tasty, yet you’ll need a knife to cut it. Yep. 100% of the profits go to the Fredericksburg Regional SPCA. Tickets are $20 and we’ll be collecting food, donations and other items at the door. Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm. As usual, we’ll be at the Fredericksburg Field House.

Williams and String Cheese Incident bassist Keith Moseley played free shows this past weekend at Key West, FL’s
The Green Parrot. He will perform a solo set at Tulsa, OK-Cain’s Ballroom this evening.
