The Philistines Jr., the band featuring The National/Interpol producer Peter and his brother Tarquin Katis, will head to Camber Sands, UK to perform at All Tomorrow’s Parties from December 7-9. The National will curate this installment of the festival. In advance of the trip to the UK, The Philistines Jr. will perform at New York’s Pianos at 9 PM tonight. In his recent interview with Relix, Trey Anastasio revealed that The Philistines Jr. opened for Phish at the University of Vermont in the mid-80s. Anastasio also recruited Katis to produce his new solo album Traveler.
