The 12.12.12 Concert for Sandy Relief will be simulcast live, and free of charge, at select theaters in the hurricane-affected area. As previously reported, the show will take place on December 12 at Madison Square Garden, and will feature performances by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Who, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Eric Clapton and more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund’s hurricane recovery efforts. Free tickets are now available at the select theaters and will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors will open at 6:45pm and the presentation will run until approximately 11:30pm. The show will also be broadcast on a number of cable television networks. You can see a list of participating theaters and TV stations here. Tickets to the concert itself can be purchased via Ticketmaster, which has waived its service fees for the event.
