Toubab Krewe’s New Orleans New Year’s Eve

Toubab Krewe have confirmed a two-show New Orleans New Year’s run. The Asheville, NC-bred group’s New Year’s run will include shows at New Orleans’ The Blue Nile on December 29 and 31. Both Blue Nile shows will start at 1 AM (technically December 30 and January 1).

The ensemble has also outlined their early 2013 plans. After a brief run through Georgia, Toubab Krewe will host their Winter Carnavalito shows at Asheville, NC’s Orange Peel on January 18 and 19. Both shows will benefit the Manna Foodbank. Then, Toubab Krewe will head to Hawaii for a two-island tour.

Blue Nile is New Orleans not Asheville Dec. 29&31

it clearly says that the band is from asheville but the show is in new orleans

There are actually three bands on the bill for the NYE show in New Orleans: Honey Island Swamp Band, Wild Magnolias, and Toubab Krewe. The schedule for Blue Nile on Dec 31 is as follows… 9pm Doors open
10pm Wild Magnolias
11:15pm Honey Island Swamp Band **** Midnight countdown with HISB and members of the Wild Mags ***
1:30am Toubab Krewe (late show)
