The Disco Biscuits have confirmed the opening acts for their New Year’s run. In addition, the band has confirmed a series of official after shows tied to their New Year’s festivities.

As previously reported, the Biscuits will close 2012 with shows at New York’s Best Buy Theater from December 26-29 and The Theater at Madison Square Garden on 31. On December 28 and 29, the Disco Biscuits will take the stage after Phish’s performance at Madison Square Garden comes to a close. On December 31, they will perform from 11PM to dawn.

On December 26, Goldroom will open for the band, while
Goldroom, Chris Malinchak and Cinnamon Chasers will play late night sets at New York’s BB King Blues Club. Then, on December 27 Ott will support the Biscuits at Best Buy, and Ott., Phutureprimitive, Alpha Data and Space Jesus will all play late night at New York’s BB King Blues Club.

Of the late night shows Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein says, “Want to reiterate in it’s own post – We are working very closely with BB Kings to make the late night experience better than last year. That includes bringing in extra sound (subs) extra lights (tweak on that) and working with the security to make sure that people get treated respectfully (at Best Buy as well btw) and fairly. As well we will be keeping a careful watch on the capacity, we want it to be fun, safe, and comfortable for all.”

In addition, Cinnamon Chasers will open for the Biscuits on December 28 and Phutureprimitive will support the band on December 29. The band will confirm their December 31 lineup in the coming days.
