Umphrey’s McGee have officially confirmed that their sUMmer school master class event will return to Big Indian, NY’s Full Moon Resort next summer. In other news, last night Umphrey’s McGee guitarists Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger played a special acoustic show at Chicago’s Oceanarium at the Shedd Aquarium. This was the guitarists second acoustic show in the span of a few date and featured a mix of holiday material, covers and UM classics. The guitarists set up next to a pool which hosts the aquarium’s dolphins and opened with their Chicago anthem “In the Kitchen.”
As previously announced, Umphrey’s McGee keyboardist Joel Cummins and drummer Kris Myers joined the guitarists for a portion of their set. Singer Michelle Hallman also joined the UM quartet for an encore that consisted of “Walking In a Winter Wonderland” and “Bullhead City.”
