John Mayer will sit in with The Rolling Stones at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center this evening. He joins previously confirmed guest—and former Stone—Mick Taylor. Like previous guests Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Gary Clark Jr., Mayer will likely play a blues song with the band.

Mayer will sit in with the Rolling Stones at the request of touring Stones keyboardist Chuck Leavell, who also plays in Mayer’s band. The John Mayer Trio has also opened for the Rolling Stones in the past. Though the Stones’ previous reunion shows have each featured a guest female vocalist, the band has yet to announce any female guests for tonight’s performance. Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and The Black Keys will all sit in with the Stones at the Prudential Center on Saturday.
