Phil Lesh, his sons Brian and Grahame, Marco Benevento, Joe Russo and Stanley Jordan joined forces for a special show at Princeton’s Terrace Club back on June 2. The group played a number of Grateful Dead classics, as well as some covers of The Band, Mumford and Sons and Kings of Leon. The ensemble came together in honor of Brian’s recent graduation from Princeton. (Stanley Jordan also graduated from the University in 1981.) A partial recording of the evening’s concert was released today, and you can listen to it here. You can watch the ensemble playing “Uncle John’s Band” above.

As previously reported, the performance also marked the first time that Benevento and Russo performed together with a band other than Bustle in Your Hedgrerow since January’s Freaks Ball. Phil Lesh will ring in the New Year with Furthur at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium December 29-31.
