RatDog’s rhythm section sat in with Bob Weir at Mill Valley, CA’s Sweetwater Music Hall on Monday night. It was the final stop on Weir’s West Coast tour with Jackie Greene.

Greene opened the night, and then, Weir offered a solo acoustic set featuring such songs as “Jack Straw,” “Me and My Uncle,” “Peggy-O,” “Friend of the Devil,” “Days Between” and “Cassidy.”
Like all their recent dates, Weir and Greene returned for a joint third set. Only on Monday night, the guitarists were joined by RatDog/Primus drummer Jay Lane and RatDog bassist Robin Sylvester. The quartet ran through a mix of numbers, including
“Bertha,” “Minglewood Blues,” “Loose Lucy,” “Come Together,” “Bird Song,” “Playin in the Band,” “So Many Roads,” “China Cat Sunflower” and “I Know You Rider.” All four musicians also returned for the encore of “Nod Fade Away,” which segued into Greene’s “Shaky Ground” and, finally, back into “Not Fade Away.”
