Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Stanton Moore Trio, Eric Lindell, Kermit Ruffins, Amanda Shaw, The Rebirth Brass Band, Theresa Andersson, John Boutte and more will play the “Home for the Holidays” benefit concert at the House of Blues in New Orleans tomorrow night. Proceeds from the event will go to the Daniel Price Memorial Fund for Aspiring Artists, which provides college scholarships to outstanding visual arts and music students attending the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. The concert will begin at 6pm and run until about midnight. Tickets to the general admission event are $37, while tickets to the special patron party are $127. You can purchase them here.

The Daniel Price Memorial Fund for Aspiring Artists was created by the family of NOCCA graduate Daniel Price, who was murdered in San Francisco in 2003. Since his death, the organization has raised more than $300,000 for New Orleans area arts students. Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews is a graduate of the NOCCA as well, and the explosive bandleader is also a member of the NOCCA Institute’s Board of Directors.
