Newport Folk Fest Expands to Three Days
Newport, RI’s 2013 Folk Fest has officially expanded into a three-day affair. The event will now take place from July 26-28, 2013. Traditionally held on Friday and Saturday with a offsite benefit performance on Friday, this year Newport Folk hosted a Wilco show on the festival’s site on Friday night. Both Blitzen Trapper and Megafaun opened that show. The festival’s full lineup will be confirmed in 2013.
