The Disco Biscuits closed their four-show run at New York’s Best Buy Theatre last night. The show opened with the band’s first take on the Uncivilized Area song “Awol’s Blues” since September 3, 2004. From there, the band moved into “Strobelights and Martinis,” “I-Man,” this year’s first version of the seasonal-appropriate “Dance Of The Sugarplum Fairies, “I-Man,” the second part of “Strobelights and Martinis,” “Wet,” “Aquatic Ape” and the end of “Wet.”

The quartet’s second set was a nearly seamless set of music. The Disco Biscuits opened their second segment with “House Dog Party Favor” before moving into “Confrontation” and then back to “House Dog Party Favor,” the end of the version of “Run Like Hell” they started on December 27, part of “Little Betty Boop,” “Tricycle,” a bit of “Mr. Don” and “I-Man.” “Little Lai” closed the show.

The Disco Biscuits will end 2012 at New York’s Theatre at Madison Square Garden tomorrow. The show’s three sets will start at 11 PM, 1:30 AM and 3:30 AM. The evening will stretch past 5 AM.
