Connecticut’s Kung Fu will play a “special healing through music” concert in Newtown, CT, the site of the recent tragic school shooting. The group will perform at the Newtown venue One Eyed Pig this Saturday. The show is free, open to the public and, according to the band, suitable for the entire family. The group will perform a 75-minute set at 6pm sharp. In a post the band explains, “this is not a benefit, or a fundraiser, rather a free show for the people of Sandy Hook/Newtown in hopes of beginning the long process of healing this community. So please share with your friends and come celebrate the lives and memories of all who have lost. We are all Newtown.”
