Wyllys have put together a new ensemble for a special post-Jam Cruise show. Billed as The Heavy Hustlers, the group will perform at Boca Raton, FL’s the Funky Biscuit on January 13. Jam Cruise will sail from January 7-12. In addition to Wyllys, The Heavy Hustlers will bring together Trey Anastasio Band’s Jennifer Hartswick, Lettuce’s Adam “Schmeeans” Smirnoff, The Heavy Pets’ Jim Wuest and Jeff Lloyd and possibly other special guests. The group promises fans to “expect the signature funky disco and re edit from Wyllys spiked with explosions of improv from this top notch band of musicians.” DJ Tony D will open the night.
