The Wood Brothers have confirmed a series of 2013 dates. The group will kick off a winter tour at Orlando, FL’s The Plaza Live on January 10. The gig is timed right after bassist Chris Wood returns from Jam Cruise with Medeski Martin & Wood. The family band will tour the country throughout the winter months, bringing things to a close in Savannah, GA on March 23.

In related news, Shemekia Copeland’s Oliver Wood-produced album 33 1/3 was recently nominated for a Grammy for Best Blues Album. In addition to his production work, Oliver Wood also co-wrote a few of the songs and played some guitar on the record.
