Steve Martin and Edie Brickell have collaborated on a studio album, with a tour to follow. Martin provides banjo while Brickell contributes vocals on Love Has Come For You, which is set for release via Rounder Records on April 23. Peter Asher (James Taylor, Elvis Costello, Linda Ronstadt) produced the album, which also features the Steep Canyon Rangers, who have previously joined Martin in studio and on the road. Guest players include: Esperanza Spalding, Waddy Wachtel and Nickel Creek alumni Sara and Sean Watkins. Martin and Brickell will take to the road in support of the recording, with dates expected soon.
