Aaron Neville will celebrate the release of his forthcoming doo-wop cover album My True Story with a host of TV and radio appearances. The legendary singer will perform on The Today Show on January 23 and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on January 29. A featured interview with Neville will be broadcast on NPR’s Morning Edition on January 22, the album’s release date. NPR will also broadcast a live performance by Neville from Philadelphia’s Word Café as part of their “Free At Noon” concert series on January 18, and PBS will air a sit-down interview with Neville on Tavis Smiley some time in February. His performance for Yahoo! Music‘s “The Sessions” will be posted on January 21. In addition to these media appearances, Neville has also confirmed a series of tour dates for the spring, which you can view below.

As previously reported, Paul Simon and Joan Osborne joined Neville at the Brooklyn Bowl in November for the taping of his PBS special Aaron Neville: Doo Wop: My True Story. The program will be broadcast in March, though a specific date has not yet been announced. Neville was backed by an array of incredible musicians for the event, including guitarist Greg Leisz, drummer George G. Receli, bassist Tony Scherr, saxophonist (and fellow Neville Brother) Charles Neville and keyboardist Michael Goods.
