Leonard Cohen has a confirmed a North American tour for the spring. The legendary Canadian singer / songwriter will kick off his run at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA on March 2 before making his way up to Western Canada. Cohen will then swing back through the United States for a series of shows, including a stop at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, on his way to Eastern Canada. He will also head to Europe for a few dates this summer. Cohen will be touring in support of last year’s album Old Ideas. Tickets for the shows go on sale January 18 at 10am local time and a full list of his upcoming tour dates can be viewed below. You can also check out some photos from his performance at the Bass Concert Hall in Austin, TX a few months ago here.

The first leg of Cohen’s tour came to a close on December 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The singer made stops in Canada, as well as the American West and Northeast on that last run, which began in November. Cohen has been touring more these days than he has in the recent past, and his performances have been surprisingly long. While he tends to go with similar setlists each night, the song choice has covered the full spectrum of his career, including a good bit of his new material and some choice covers.
