New York’s Leroy Justice will release their third studio album, Above The Weather, in April via Elm City Music and EMI/Universal distribution. This is the band’s first release with major label involvement.

The group’s Monday night Bowling for Justice residency will continue at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl this evening. The show will feature several special guests: singer Anise White, Particle/Rich Robinson keyboardist Steve Molitz, and a horn section led by Michael Kammers of MK Groove Orchestra. Northeastern Pennsylvania’s MiZ will open the evening at 8pm.

Last week, the band opened its January residency at Brooklyn Bowl with a two-and-a-half hour, 21-song set featuring new material from the album and first-time covers of Tears For Fears’ “Everybody Wants To Rule The World,” Neil Young’s “Don’t Let It Bring You Down” and Status Quo’s “Pictures of Matchstick Men.” Openers The McLovins started the night with their hook-filled “Flavor of the Week.”
