On Friday night, Yonder Mountain String Band headlined Nashville, TN’s Marathon Music Works. In addition, Flecktones mainstay and area resident Futureman played on a percussion box for a portion of the band’s set. Likewise, Del McCoury Band
mandolin player Ronny McCoury joined the group for “Katy Hill,” “New Deal Train” and “Pretty Daughter” near the start of their second set.

Great show by Yonder and friends, but Marathon Music works sucks. Band sound, not enough bathrooms, too many jerks on staff, too many long lines for anything and everything. Won’t be going back there, unless absolutely necessary.
