The Mother Hips will perform at Phil Lesh’s San Rafael, CA venue Terrapin Crossroads next month. The Chico, CA-bred group will perform in the club’s new Grate Room on February 22 and 23. The Terrapin Family Band will open both nights. Mother Hips frontman Tim Bluhm has performed at Terrapin Crossroads several times as a member of Phil Lesh’s various combos. The Hips are working on a new studio album, which may be released later this year.
