On Saturday night, Flannel Church headlined the official after party for the Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Sunshine Blues Festival at Boca Raton, FL’s the Funky Biscuit. Flannel Church drummer Duane Trucks and bassist Kevin Scott settled into a hard-hitting groove early, putting vocals of new frontman and guitarist Marshall Ruffin on display in original songs like “Tailor” and “Make It Rain,” before surprise guest Susan Tedeschi lended her pipes and a sizzling guitar solo to the Bill Withers classic, “Grandma’s Hands.” Tedeschi is married to Duane Trucks’ older brother Derek. They also played together in the Soul Stew Revival.

Flannel Church will return to Florida from April 18-20 for their second consecutive year performing at the Wanee Music Festival in Live Oak, FL.
