The Who appear on the current cover of Relix. The extended feature discusses The Who’s current Quadrophenia tour and also looks back on the group’s career as they enter their 50th year as a band. Highlights include an exclusive interview with Who guitarist Pete Townshend, essays from a range of noted rock critics and personal reflections from the likes of Bill Corgan, Bob Weir, Warren Haynes, Wayne Coyne, Jon Fishman and Widespread Panic’s Dave Schools, among others.

For his contribution, Dave Schools reflected on Who bassist John Enwistle, who many describe as the “un-bassist.” Schools’ entire essay can now be found over at our sister site Relix.com

In addition, we’ve posted a personal essay from longtime Relix Editor-at-Large Jaan Uhelszki, who was fortunate enough to see The Who at her high school.

To read our entire Who tribute, be sure to order the January/February issue of Relix. The issue also kicks off our 40th anniversary.
