Eric Burdon has put together a new band to tour as Eric Burdon & The Animals. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame singer/songwriter (The Animals, WAR) has teamed up with keyboardist Steve Molitz (Particle), guitarist Eric McFadden (Stockholm Syndrome, P-Funk), percussionist Wally Ingram (Sheryl Crowe, Jackson Browne), drummer Eric Bolivar (Anders Osborne, Pimps of Joytime) and bassist Ron Johnson (KDTU, Warren Haynes Band). The group will hit the road in support of Burdon’s new album ‘Til Your River Runs Dry, though they will also be playing a mix of new and old material, including classic songs by The Animals and WAR. Burdon, Molitz and McFadden will also team up with The Roots for the debut performance of the band’s new single “Water” on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon this Monday, January 28.

In other news, Molitz is currently in the studio working with Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson on a follow up to Robinson’s 2011 release Through A Crooked sun. More information on that album will be available in the future.
