Yes to Play Classic Albums in Full on Cruise to the Edge

Yes have announced that they will perform The Yes Album, Close to the Edge and Going for the One in their entirety during the inaugural edition of Cruise to the Edge. The band will play the three classic albums in full twice aboard the sold out music cruise, which will take fans from Ft. Lauderdale to Ocho, Rios, Jamaica and Georgetown, Grand Cayman over the course of a week. Other artists featured at the event include Steve Hackett—Genesis Revisited, UK, Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy, Tangerine Dream, SAGA and more. The Cruise to the Edge will take place March 25-30.

As previously reported, Yes will be performing all three of the above albums in full during their upcoming U.S. tour in March and April. Their current lineup includes bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White, keyboardist Geoff Downes and singer Jon Davison. We spoke with Squire recently about taking the band back on the road. You can read that interview here.

I havent cried about Jon Anderson missing from Yes since the day I heard Drama and saw that incarnation of yes play live. In retrospect, Jon is the weakest link in the band.
