Perpetual Groove will play their final pre-hiatus show on April 5. The performance will take place at Athens, GA’s Georgia Theatre, the group’s longtime home venue. After the show, guitarist Brock Butler will take a leave of absence from the band for personal reasons. Remaining members Adam Perry, Albert Suttle and Matthew McDonald will continue on under the name Ghost Owl.

The group has now confirmed that Ghost Owl will open Perpetual Groove’s April 5 show at the Georgia Theatre. The new project will play a limited number of shows in March and April of 2013. They will tour extensively this summer. PGroove will perform at Oxford, MS’s The Lyric this evening.
