Los Angeles’ Lord Huron have confirmed a series of West Coast dates in support of their debut album Lonesome Dreams. Band frontman Ben Schneider started writing songs as a child in Michigan—most often on summer nights around the campfire on Lake Huron. He went on to study art in college and lived in France and New York before moving to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue a career in the visual arts. The band now also include Mark Barry (percussion, vocals), Miguel Briseno (bass, percussion), and Tom Renaud (guitar, vocals).

The group’s new West Coast dates are timed with the band’s upcoming appearances at Coachella. Lord Huron will also play New York’s Music Hall of Williamsburg in February.
