Several special guests joined the Terrapin Family Band during their free show in San Rafael, CA’s Terrapin Crossroads bar space last night. The Terrapin Family Band’s lineup for the show featured a stacked lineup of musicians that included staple members Grahame Lesh (acoustic guitar, vocals), Ross James (electric guitar, vocals), Scott Padden (standup bass, vocals) and Alex Koford (drums, backup vocals) as well as special guests Jackie Greene, Alex Nelson, Emily Sunderland and Ryan Boldt. In addition, after performing with Bob Weir at TRI Studios for his Weir Here webcast, singer Shana Morrison and multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby made they way to Terrapin Crossroads to sit in the Terrapin Family Band. Shana even led the band through two of her father Van Morrison’s best known songs, “Moondance” and “Into The Mystic.”

After a short break, venue proprietor Phil Lesh emerged for the band’s second set. The bassist joined the Terrapin Family Band for “I Know you Rider,” “Bertha,” “Deal,” “Goin’ Down the Road Feeling Bad” and “Sugaree.”
