Wilco’s John Stirratt will perform with several rising Chicago musicians as part of the 3rd annual Rock-N-Pop Circus. The youth showcase will present several rising Chicago-based youth bands at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall this Saturday, February 2. The bassist—who has been mentoring the teen group White Diamond as part of the Intonation Music after school program—will perform with the teenager group during the event.

The performance will also feature Emcee Psalm One, the kid-friendly indie pop group Future Hits, Rock Star Face painting, a celebrity photo booth and a musical petting zoo. In addition to White Diamond with Stirratt, the evening event will feature student bands Pop Tots, Scorps and RhymeSchool.

As previously reported, Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy has also confirmed a pair of Chicago appearances.
