The 9th annual Nelsonville Music Festival is to be held May 30-June 2, 2013 at Robbins Crossing in Nelsonville, OH. On the campus of Hocking College, Robbins Crossing is made up of nineteenth century buildings that enable the visitor to step back into the shoes of the pioneers and experience an authentic slice of historic American village life.

The festival recently announced a second round of confirmed artists, which include Mavis Staples, Sharon Van Etten, and Jonathan Richman. That is in addition to the round one lineup which includes headliners Wilco and John Prine, along with Calexico, Reigning Sound, The Coup, He’s My Brother She’s My Sister, Michael Hurley, Cotton Jones, Wooden Indian Burial Ground, Nick Tolford & Company, The D-Rays, and the County Pharaohs. The festival promises four days of music with over 40 bands, multiple stages and all the amenities of a kid-friendly, eco-conscious festival.
