Tedeschi Trucks Band Return to the Studio, Add a Spring Date

Tedeschi Trucks Band have returned to Swamp Raga Studios, their Jacksonville, FL home studio, to begin work on their sophomore studio album. As the band explains, “Details of the project are being kept tightly under wraps, although a few of the new songs were performed live at Sunshine Blues Festival. Stay tuned for much more info about this new album, coming to speakers near you some time in 2013.”

In other news, the group has confirmed another spring date. TTB will perform at the Savannah Music Festival, the site of their first ever performance back in 2010, on April 4.

Interesting — lest we forget, Oteil had a big hand in the writing and arrangement of the 1st album. Let’s hope Kofi and Mike are writing and that Susan sticks to singing.
