What is it about some musicians and thier desire to play or record with orchestras? The only one that could ever pull it off was Frank Zappa, and even HE said it was a pain in the ass. Memo to Trey and the rest who want to play or record with orchestras: Your fans aren’t really interested. The people who will actually hear you play live with the orchestra don’t buy your records anyway, and may not even have heard of you. Just trying to save you some time and effort Trey, that’s all.

@Bab’s Uvula – Did you ever think that maybe he’s doing it because it’s something he’s always wanted to do? I heard an interview with Trey on the radio the other day and he seemed very excited abot the orchestral stuff for himself, not for Phish fans. I don’t think he could care less if the people seeing it will buy Phish music as a result.

He has played with Orchestras before. This isn’t his first, or his second time. The video of one I saw from Philly had a lot of Trey fans there. The orchestra performed several Phish AND TAB songs. So, actually, he obviously loves playing with orchestras and orchestras like playing with him as well.

BLAH BLAH BLAH. When are they going to change the name of this site to: “ALLTHINGSPHISH.COM”

I’m a fan and I’m excited to see this show. If you’re not into it, don’t go, that’s totally fine.

Bab’s Uvula you are a fool. You are a fat troll.

JB Troll February 13, 2013, 08:31:16

Bab’s what are you doing with YOUR life? Something you WANT to do or something you HAVE to do. Don’t you think that artists do what they want for themselves, not necessarily to impress you? Trey has probably been at this before you were born and with regard to allthingsphish.com, of course there is bias here RE phish, how many of most of the bands covered on this site have been around for 30 years? Haters stay away, hit your little pills and get on with your jam-tronica (which is a musical art, not a band BTW).

The truth is this, Trey likes boning semi-hot clarinet chicks.

As a quasi-phish fan who is very much looking forward to this show, haters need to silence themselves. Trey will do as he pleases, and if anyone wants to show up to his performance, they can. Mutually consenting parties yield no discontent. Very much looking forward to this. See you all there!
