Frack Action with John Medeski, Marco Benevento, Amy Helm, Natalie Merchant and More

John Medeski, Marco Benevento, Amy Helm, Natalie Merchant and many others will come together as part of We Shall Not Be Moved: An Evening of Spirituals to Benefit FrackAction. The anti-fracking event is slated to take place at Woodstock, NY’s Bearsville Theater on Sunday, March 10. Other confirmed performers include: Rachael Yamagata, Ween’s Dave Dreiwitz, Don Byron, Tracy Bonham, Bethany Yarrow and Jeremy Bernstein, among others. The evening will also feature a silent auction. Many of the evening’s performers live in the Hudson Valley/Woodstock area where fracking has become a major issue.

at first I thought it said Frank Action, like Frank Ocean? Fracking is bad news. Almost as bad as Frank Ocean.

Love the fracking. Energy independence here WE come. And you told me that this town had no heart. P.s. Amy helm sucks. Like really sucks and everyone is afraid to say it because they respect Levon too much. But she may be from the same mold but different planes.

Reeeeal bad fucking idea, this fracking is. Look it up. Someday we’ll all realize this hopefully. I salute the people putting on this show and there should be more like it.
