Miles Davis with Quincy Jones and the Gil Evans Orchestra Live at Montreux 1991 will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on March 19. The concert from July 8, 1991 was the last of Davis’ many appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival and took place only a few months before his passing. The lineup for the performance consisted of Davis (trumpet), Benny Bailey (trumpet, flugelhorn), Carles Benavent (bass), Grady Tate (drums), soloists Kenny Garret (saxophone) and Wallace Roney (trumpet, flugelhorn), as well as Quincy Jones conducting the Gil Evans Orchestra and the George Grunts Concert Jazz Band.
