Dopapod and Kung Fu joined forces to close out last night’s show at the Highline Ballroom in New York City. The two bands came together for a crowd-pleasing rendition of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon classic “Money.” It was a great way to wrap up a long night of music, which began with a performance by FiKus. The up-and-coming electro-funk rockers got things going earlier with a set that included a great take on “Michael Phelps,” the fast-paced, yet psychedelic ode to their favorite Olympian. Kung Fu then came out for a funky set that kept the crowd moving for a while before Dopapod took the stage to a packed house. As previously reported, members of Kung Fu joined Dopapod a few weeks ago in Manchester, CT.
