Former Yankee center fielder Bernie Williams will perform with Steve Kimock at New York’s Stage 48 this evening. The show will benefit victims of Superstorm Sandy. Williams will sit in with Kimock’s current band, which includes Bernie Worrell, Wally Ingram and Andy Hess. Gregg Allman guitarist Scott Sharrard is also slated to perform with Kimock. Additional guests are expected.

Williams is a Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist who has recorded with Paul McCartney, Bela Fleck and Bruce Springsteen. He performed with Jazz Mandolin Project at the 2001 Jammy Awards and regularly appears with The Allman Brothers Band during their annual Beacon run.
