HeadCount is auctioning off four Presidential Box seats and a meet and greet for this Saturday’s Deep Banana Blackout show at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. They are also auctioning off another four Presidential Box seats for the March 15 Drive-By Truckers shows as well. The project is a part of HeadCount’s new Capitol Community initiative.

Capitol Community supports educational, charitable, and action programs in Port Chester, NY and the surrounding area. 50% of the proceeds from each Capitol Community auction supports a designated non-profit organization that is selected by the performing artist or serves Westchester county, the Village of Port Chester, or other Capitol Community priorities. The rest goes toward the Capitol Community Fund, which provides grants and sponsorships of community organizations and music education programs, and covers the costs of administration, staff and all direct expenses of the Capitol Community program.

HeadCount also held similar auctions at the Capitol Theatre’s recent Trey Anastasio Band and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals shows. The proceeds from those auctions went to Sandy Hook Promise.
