The recently formed Americana outfit will be making a few stops in Birmingham, AL, Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, Decatur, GA and Atlanta in support of their debut album Southern Angels, which features Widespread Panic’s John Bell and Bloodkin’s Daniel Hutchins. Holt was the longtime guitar tech for WSP’s Michael Houser and briefly played lead guitar in the band himself following Houser’s passing. The Sam Holt Band includes Holt (guitar and vocals), Spanky McCluer (bass and vocals), Adam Stern (pedal steel & guitar) and Andy Clapp (drums).
