Jim James and Neko Case Sing on New Camera Obscura Album

Jim James and Neko Case both make appearances on the forthcoming Camera Obscura album Desire Lines, which is set to be released on June 4. The Glasgow-based band will be playing a run of shows at South by Southwest in Austin, TX in March, and they will be hitting the road for a full tour starting in early June. As previously reported, James will be playing a free show with the Flaming Lips and the Divine Fits at SXSW as well. He will also be doing a featured interview at the festival.

I fail to see how writing about a guy who just released his debut solo album, is in the middle of a tour and will be at a bunch of festivals is indicative of a lack of credibility. I mean c’mon, i’m not the biggest Jim James fan but if you don’t care about the dude then don’t read the story
