The Allman Brothers Band will be kicking off their 11-night run at New York City’s Beacon Theater tonight. In addition to Allman gigs, there will also be six official “Brothers Midnight Concert Series” after shows at the B.B. King Blues Club featuring a variety of musicians. Each of the shows will begin at 11:59pm, following the Allman Brothers Band’s performances at the Beacon. Tickets are $17 in advance and $20 at the door.

Guitarist Bobby Lee Rodgers will play the first after show tonight. Scrapomatic will play tomorrow night’s after show, which will take place at the B.B. King Blues Club’s Lucille’s Bar and Grill.

Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band will keep the music going late on Friday, March 8, and Flannel Church will play the after show at Lucille’s the following night, March 9. Flannel Church includes drummer Duane Trucks, the younger brother of Allman Brothers Band guitarist Derek Trucks and nephew of ABB drummer Butch Trucks.

Berry Oakley’s Skylab will play the March 15 after show at B.B. Kings. The group is led by Berry Duane Oakley, the son of founding Allman Brothers Band bassist Berry Oakley. Finally, Col. Bruce Hampton and Friends will perform at the March 16 after show at Lucille’s.
