The String Cheese Incident have confirmed their summer tour. In addition to previously confirmed appearances at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Electric Forest and Forecastle Festival, the group will host multi-night runs at Austin, TX’s The Backyard (7/4-7/6), Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks (7/26-27) and North Plains, OR’s Horning’s Hideout (8/2-4). The Travelin’ McCourys, Del McCoury Band, John Scofield’s Uberjam Band, Steve Kimock with Bernie Worrell, ALO and several other acts will join String Cheese during their Horning’s Hideout weekend.

String Cheese will play three shows in Louisville, KY during Forecastle: a proper festival set, a separately-ticketed late night show off set and a guest-heavy set billed as The Forecastle Incident. Their late night show will take place at the Palace Theater on Saturday, July 13.

The group is currently working on their first studio album since 2005. The album will mix some of the songs the band has debuted since their 2010 reunion with several new tracks. Kyle Hollingsworth recently told Relix and Jambands.com that the group is weighing producer options.
