On Record Store Day 2013, Trey Anastasio will release Blue Ash And Other Suburbs, a limited edition picture disc vinyl, available exclusively at participating independently owned record stores across the country. His announcement comes a few minutes after Page McConnell confirmed the release of a Record Store Day album and Phish announced that they would release Lawn Boy on vinyl.

The 7” picture disc features outtakes from Anastasio’s Traveler sessions that were co-produced by the Phish guitarist and Peter Katis in the fall of 2011. The album also features original artwork by Micah Lidberg. Anastasio previously released one of the album’s three songs, “Gone,” as part of Phish’s 2009 mini-album Party Time. The Vermont Quartet performed “Gone” live twice and Trey Anastasio Band has offered the tune on a few occasions.

This picture disc was created exclusively for Record Store Day and will be available in stores only beginning Saturday, April 20. For a complete list of participating record stores, please visit www.recordstoreday.com.
