Dave Malone of The Radiators and Alvin Youngblood Hart joined George Porter Jr. and John ‘Papa’ Gros for a packed Stones Fest tribute to the Rolling Stones at The Maple Leaf Bar in New Orleans on Saturday night. The group, which also included Alex McMurray, Chuco Credo IV and Chad Gilmore, ripped through classic Stones tracks for four hours over two sets. The first set featured John Gros taking lead vocals on “Ruby Tuesday” and “Beast of Burden” before Malone came out for “Last Time,” “Wild Horses,” “Paint It Black” and “Sympathy for the Devil.” Hart then took the stage during set two, which came to a rocking close with “Brown Sugar,” “Loving Cup” and “Satisfaction.”
