John Popper is on a sit-in rampage these days. The Blues Traveler singer and harmonica player just announced that he will be sitting in with Soulive tomorrow during the opening night of Bowlive at the Brooklyn Bowl. There he will join the previously announced special guests, Luther and Cody Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars. This news comes just a few hours after Popper revealed (also via Twitter) that he will be joining The Allman Brothers Band tonight at the Beacon Theatre.

Popper also played with Bill Evans’ Soulgrass with Jake Cinninger and John Medeski last week. He was supposed to play with Soulgrass and Eric Krasno a few nights earlier but he had to drop out because of a surgery. Popper tweeted that playing with Krasno tomorrow night will be “like a cool make up exam for me.”
