Max Creek and Friends to Play the Cap

Max Creek will return to Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre for the first time since the ‘90s this spring. On April 27, the veteran jamband will celebrate their 42nd anniversary with a big show at the theater. The band will perform an acoustic opening set as well as two electric sets. The show will be “peppered” with appearances by special guests. Max Creek regularly played the theater in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. The band’s last known appearance at the Cap was on October 25, 1991. Max Creek will perform at Pawtucket RI’s The Met on Friday.

Max Creek is in their 42nd year? Amazing. I remember the first time i saw them in the winter of 86 in Boston, & then I never missed when i was in Burlington from 87-91. Always a good time & I always said you could get off to Creek just as intensely as anyone else if you let your self go. Happy 42nd Anniversary to Creek & all their fans. “Somebody tell that woman!!!”
