Prince will play a special show at Austin’s SXSW Music Conference later this week. He will perform at Austin’s La Zona Rosa on Saturday, March 16. The singer/guitarist/composer will bring his full 22-piece band to the music festival. A post on the local site Do512 adds, “Furthermore, fest-goers should keep their eyes peeled for a certain awards show held during music festivities in Austin this week: His Royal Badness is slated as a ‘special guest’ at the podium.” Prince recently performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
