The Allman Brothers Band returned to New York’s Beacon Theatre last night. Like almost every night of their run this year, the Brothers welcomed several guests during the show.

After performing “Rivers Gonna Rise” from Warren Haynes’ 2011 solo album Man in Motion, Warren Haynes Band/Royal Family Records singer Alecia Chakour emerged for another song Haynes shares with several of his bands, “Soulshine.” She remained onstage for a take on The Band’s “The Weight.” Frequent Beacon guests The Juke Horns also sat in on both numbers.

Later in the night, The Juke Horns returned for covers of Bob Dylan’s “Blind Willie McTell” and Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic.” Yesterday’s show also included The Allman Brothers Band’s first take on “Bag End” this season. Until this year’s run, the 2009 number was the newest original song in The Allman Brothers Band’s rotation.
