Singer/songwriter Stephen Kellogg’s third studio album, Blunderstone Rookery, will be released on the Elm City Music label on June 18. It will be Kellogg’s first release since his band of a decade, The Sixers, announced their hiatus last fall. The album was mixed by Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, Monsters Of Folk) and features Travis McNabb and Annie Clements of Sugarland, Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek and Jerry DePizzo of OAR.

USA Today premiered the album’s first-released track, “Thanksgiving,” and the song and video can be seen here . Before the album is released, Kellogg will set off on a national solo acoustic tour, starting in Northampton, MA on April 25 and crisscrossing the country before ending in Albany, NY on June 15.
